Gaia is a free sewing pattern designed to encourage and inspire you to make your own lingerie. 
 
Designed to be easy to sew and comfortable to wear, this thong-style panty comes in two variations: 

Variation A features a Comfort Thong, a popular Brazilian style with a double-layered back and no elastic for a soft and comfortable fit.

Variation B offers a delicate lace-back design that adds a feminine touch. 

Both styles include stretch lace on the sides and use fold-over elastic at the front leg openings and waistband. 
 
Gaia is a quick sewing project that brings together simplicity, comfort, and beauty.
 
 
This digital sewing pattern comes in a zip file, which includes four files: an instructions file in English and the pattern provided in separate files for different print sizes: US Letter, A4, and A1.

This project is appropriate for the confident-beginner sewing level, familiar with fold-over elastic. 
You’ll need a standard sewing machine with zigzag and straight stitches. A serger for overlock stitches and a coverstitch machine for applying fold-over elastic can be helpful but are not required.
 
For materials, you'll need stretch lace with scalloped edges, stretch fabric, cotton jersey for the crotch lining, and fold-over elastic.
